You took it out of context. This was used as a metaphor.

You seriously think Phil Mudd went on national TV and said the government was going to kill trump? I think you've been listening to too much Alex Jones.

He is not currently employed by Mueller, nor the government. This guy also mentions the Deep State, which basically tells me that he is spewing nonsense. He want to be invited on more interviews, the money and exposure are good for him.

Nevertheless political assassination is a serious threat to all heads of state (particularly so in the USA), and it could come from anywhere for any reason. That is why the Secret Service has such a huge budget.

Another way to say it is that the entrenched government establishment is going to run over Trump. They'll do what they can to undermine his administration. He may shoot his mouth off but he may end up being less harmful than Hillary Clinton because she had long-time supporters in the State Department and the CIA of the policies. Both are bad for the country. The US pressed their advantage too much in the last ten years and have lost ground because of Iraq, Libya, Syria, etc.

Is CNN in self destruct mode these days?

They have everything from Kathy Griffin holding up a severed head of Trump, to the CNN producer caught on tape admitting they create fake news so the Trump Deranged will watch them for ratings, to articles suggesting this.

My question is this. Why do any of you still support them?
