Yet every time those stupid, subhuman outcast miscreants hold one of their little marches, it's front page on the banner headline.
Really. They are TOTALLY irrelevant.
The killing was relevant but we have homicides all over this country every day and night and a tiny fraction are ever in the news.
The white supremacists are overrepresented.

They seem to get quite a bit of supportive posts from a half dozen or so posters on this forum who believe that there's some sort of a war against "white people". White supremacists and white nationalists should be sidelined and ridiculed they are a cancer in America we don't beat down on them enough they're scum.
Because liberals label anyone who doesn't agree with them as a "white supremacist". Therefore the conclusion is that half of the country is composed of "white supremacists".

Because the left doesn't want anyone to debate immigration and other policies. They just want to shut that down along with any other position the right has by labeling it all "white supremacy", "racism"etc.
And all the Republicans who scapegoated and threw under the bus the alt-right protesters just shown they are no better than leftist.
Most of the KKK rallies I can recall from the last 20 or so years were simply left alone. The local news would report it and people would come out just to gawk more than anything else.
The loons would put on their pointy hats, speak into a megaphone for an hour or two, then go home.
I think the number is closer to 10K in the KKK though, not 5K as the OP said.
No matter which number it is that is so small it's not even worth mentioning.

My daughter and her husband moved to Trurmont MD. The day after they moved in there was a KKK flyer on their door telling them when the next meeting was. She was appalled. No that wasn't in the news but it happens all the time there.
Democrats seem determined to continue to re-fight the 1960s over and over. I'm sorry, but when is the issue of race considered "settled"? Because if it's never, then there's no point in the government fighting it. When the goalposts have moved to the point where activists are comparing million-dollar salary Colin Kaepernick not getting hired by an NFL team to the horrific lynchings that once happened on a regular basis in the South, I think we're far off the reservation. If he is oppressed with his glamorous celebrity lifestyle and being given a platform to be a political activist at his million-dollar per year job, where can I sign up to be oppressed?

To get as high as 2 percent you would have to include just about everyone who thinks of themselves as pro-white in the same way La Raza is pro-Hispanic and BLM is pro-black. The vast majority those people are not "supremacists".
