The Dems have been whitewashing their history and most of their zombies don't even know.

Well, read and learn. A couple of tidbits to whet your appetite:

Who knew that Al Gore's dad voted against the Civil Rights Act? Lying Al Jr. said the opposite.

President Bill Clinton praised his mentor, Sen. Fulbright, who was among 99 Democrats in Congress to sign the “Southern Manifesto” in 1956. (Two Republicans also signed it.) The Southern Manifesto declared their opposition to the Supreme Court’s decision in Brown v. Board of Education and their commitment to segregation forever. Fulbright was also among those who filibustered the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

Interestingly, Hillary's mentor was Sen. Byrd, former KKK grand wizard. "Birds of a feather flock together."

Don't get your hopes up. Your sources may be inaccurate. Byrd was never a Grand Wizard. He did recruit for the Klan in his early days. He was in the Klan for one year and always regretted it.

His quote on that.... "It has emerged throughout my life to haunt and embarrass me and has taught me in a very graphic way what one major mistake can do to one's life, career, and reputation,"

A Senator's Shame

"He made a bad mistake," Byrd said. "We all make mistakes. I made a mistake when I was a young man. It's always been an albatross around my neck, joining the Ku Klux Klan."

The statues are an in your face reminder of the DNC and it's support for slavery, our textbooks are now controlled by Google, Microsoft, Apple and a few book publishers, all left. The goal is to erase as much history as possible, or Democrats will cease to be a national party. Reviving the KKK under AntiFA is a sign of desperation at the DNC.

Truer words (at least from Trump supporters in this thread) have never been spoken.

There's no debating the fact that Democrats are the party of racism for votes going back to slavery, Jim Crow, and now racial preferences for certain people based on color. The Republicans, on the other hand, were formed to end slavery which they accomplished through bloodshed and they have adopted the approach that all Americans are granted equal rights regardless of race or color and they have maintained that.

I think what he is saying is most of those statues that seem so objectionable today were erected and paid for by people who were at that time the backbone of the Southern Democrat Party. That has to be true because that is who was in charge of the South then.
