When you are the POTUS and you make a decision you need to think it through fully. Some things he does seems like a reaction not a decision. That worked more often than not during the campaign but that strategy has failed him as POTUS.

Of course the CEO's are going to spin leaving the group however they choose. No company wants backlash, boycotts and loss of revenue. Trump made it impossible to be associated with him.

Frankly, it was a dumb idea to begin with. Trump may have even meant well, but nothing was gonna come out of it anyway.

These business panels and commissions are a waste of time.

That is all well and good if Trump had decided to disband the group because he thought it was a waste of time and not have to disband it because they all bailed on him because of something he did.

When I first heard of the business panel idea I thought it could be useful. We had 8 years where Obama treated business as an adversary. Now someone was in there who seemed to get it. I guess we will never know.

Tell that to coal miners who got their jobs back
Coal miners have been losing their jobs from being replaced by machines and coal no longer being the most desired power source (and Trump can't do anything about that.)

https://www.nytimes.com/2017/03/29/b...ppalachia.html
https://www.bloomberg.com/news/artic...o-his-campaign

What Trump did for coal mining is allow coal corporations to dump their waste into rivers and streams, and this will increase the coal corporations profits because they will no longer have to pay expensive waste disposal fees. And the people and industrial plant workers who once disposed of the waste will lose their jobs.

Tell that to NASA working on the newly reinstated space program
Trump wants to cut NASA's budget by $561 million dollars, and significant NASA programs will be cut from that lack of funding.

Tell that to people working for great pay on the Dakota and Keystone pipelines
Those jobs making the Keystone pipeline are only temporary jobs. And after the Keystone pipeline is complete only 35 jobs will be required to maintain the pipeline.

Today 1,000's of workers keep the oil in holding stations, load the oil on trucks and trains, and transport the oil by trucks and trains. But when the Keystone pipeline is complete all those people will lose their jobs and instead the oil will be transported by pipeline (but the oil corporations will be very happy because they will no longer have to pay those oil transport workers.)

Tell that to deported felons
Obama deported more illegal immigrants than any president in American history, and Trump has a long, long way to go before he could ever touch Obama's deportation numbers.

Tell that to military equipment and plane manufacturers
The military corporations give republican politicians huge amounts of campaign money, republicans then give the military corporations huge government contracts. And America already spends more on the military than the next 8 most powerful countries combined (those government workers could be making something else besides tools that kill and mutilate so many innocent civilians) we have enough war planes and bombs already.

Tell that to Kim Jung Un
The only thing Trump did was tell North Korea "They will be met with fire and fury like the world has never seen." And then Trump got the whole world scared.

China then stepped in and defused the situation by telling Donald Trump and North Korea "the relevant parties must maintain restraint and avoid words and deeds that would exacerbate the tension on the Korean peninsula.”
https://www.theguardian.com/world/20...-locked-loaded

Then "China moved to tighten economic pressure on North Korea by implementing a new package of U.N. sanctions.. a ban on imports of iron ore, iron, lead and coal from North Korea."
https://www.washingtonpost.com/world...=.3298eef587a1

And then China said they would not help North Korea in a war if North Korea attacked first.

China defused the whole situation and Trump is fully taking credit for it.

Tell that to ISIS
ISIS loves Donald Trump and ISIS LITERALLY celebrated Trumps "Muslim ban."

ISIS recruits people who are mad at America and Trumps travel ban angered and disrupted the lives of many Muslims (and those upset Muslims are now prime candidates for ISIS to recruit.)
Why ISIS is celebrating Trump's immigration ban - CNN

And Trumps travel ban has increased ISIS membership.

Trumps Muslim ban increased ISIS membership and now more people are willing to do things like give ISIS biological weapons, and ISIS members from Saudi Arabia can one day get on a airplane and deliver a biological weapon that will kill millions of Americans.

Wait, you never heard of this stuff before? Ask yourself why opposition media censors your news. Then sign up at the White House youtube channel and White House official website to get automatic updates. You will be better informed than other Leftists. We conservatives know what's really going on.
Trump's White House youtube channel and White House official website are staffed with publicity teams who will twist any fact or statistic to make Trump look good, and their goal is to increase Trumps popularity (not report the actual facts or consequences of Trumps actions.)

And republican news groups like Fox news and Rush radio repeat the manipulations (and the no consequence listed soundbites) said by Trumps publicity teams.

And yes news groups like MSNBC and CNN have a liberal bias, but how could they not with Trump constantly saying they are "fake news"?

But at least MSNBC and CNN practice some form of actual journalism that consists of facts and telling the whole story. But republican news groups only speak soundbites that are created with manipulation and void of the consequences republicans laws bring forth. Republican news groups even use "propaganda techniques" on their viewers.

Trump's Infrastructure Council never got off the gound.

Trump Abandons Plan for Council on Infrastructure =

"President Donald Trump will not move forward with a planned Advisory Council on Infrastructure, a person familiar with the matter said Thursday.

The council, which was still being formed, would have advised Trump on his plan to spend as much as $1 trillion upgrading roads, bridges and other public works.

Trump had tapped New York developers Richard LeFrak and Steven Roth, whom he described as friends, to lead the panel, which he established by an executive order on July 19. But he had not made any formal appointments to it. Neither LeFrak nor Roth immediately responded to requests for comment.
