A federal judge’s decision to permanently require Arizona to issue driver’s licenses to immigrants who have been granted deferred action from deportation marks another significant victory for the Obama administration in its effort to exert executive power over immigration in the face of opposition by various state governments.

The police need to enforce the law equally and don't stand by and watch illegal activity take place. That would be key to safety for all.
And yet there you were, making it a City issue

I'm to assume that you did some digging to make yourself seem right and found this from the Christian Science Monitor. How many Arizona drivers licenses does the Federal Government issue?

Exactly. Let's face it, with the number of illegal aliens being exploited for profit in that area, the mayor is probably being told to oppose the visit. I lived in the Tucson area for 6 years.............. In the name of cheap labor, people who will pay high rent for slum rental units...................

The Local Antifa has already started mobilizing for Phoenix ...... and they are bringing Guns.

Lefties with Guns Ready to Rumble with Right-Wing Militias, Says Arizona Anarchist

President Trump and his supporters who come to the Rally must be the "right wing militia".
This should go well - I remember when these Anarchists shut down highways leading to a Campaign Rally.
No talk of "right wing militias" or "nazis" then ..... just pure Anti-Republican Presidential Candidate.

And there you were making it a state issue. What was your interest ? Proving someone wrong without knowing the truth and being equally wrong ? How many drivers licenses does the city issue ?

The state of Arizona issues about 80,000 more now that the Federal Gov. ruled on it.
Point being the city and state have to be in compliance with the US constitution.
The mayor can speak for the city but he can't speak for the nation. What the President does is a national issue and he can speak anywhere in the nation he decides too.

They have been attacking peaceful political rallies for well over a year now-it is way past time for this to end. And for bigots and fools like the mayor to recognize that encouraging violence by one group is not just wrong and hate filled, but harmful to a great many innocent people-let alone his cause.

It's a shame he isn't bright enough to realize that the bill of rights applies to all people-not just ones on his side of the political spectrum.

Your post is extremely accurate.......except for one little detail. All the things you attribute to the left are actually caused by the Nazi/KKK/Alt-idiots who are Hellbent on going into peaceful little towns and stirring up trouble.

Free speech is one thing, holding subversive rallies and marches is something else altogether, and that is what those Nazi rallies are.

There is also the chance that Trump will announce a pardon for racist scumbag Arpaio. If that happens, Trump will be intentionally inciting a riot.
