A refreshing change in the White House is that Trump has not perpetually blamed Obama for every problem the US faces. Obama spent eight years blaming Bush for every problem that he could not solve.
Like Trump or not, he has not adopted the Obama strategy of blaming his predecessor for everything.

Give him time, he's only had 7 months.
And he sure as hell hasn't accepted responsibility for his own shortcomings like the failure to make good on promises like the immediate repeal.replacement of the ACA or his inability to assemble a cohesive administration not requiring a revolving door in the Oval Office.

It's hard to complain about your predecessor when your biggest achievements are b/c you kept his policies in place. If Obama inherited what he left Trump instead of what Bush left him, he'd have had a lot less to complain about.

Exactly. Most conservatives have dementia from 2001-2008. It's always GWB who? who? Clinton or Obama!
He has blamed congress, his cabinet and everyone else for his mishaps. I don't recall him taking responsibility for anything including the ACA replacement. I do believe he blamed Obama for the ACA.
I hid under the bed when I heard this speech back in February.
Quote:
Tonight, as I outline the next steps we must take as a country, we must honestly acknowledge the circumstances we inherited. Ninety-four million Americans are out of the labor force. [Fact check: This is misleading.] Over 43 million people are now living in poverty. [Fact check: True — but the number has also fallen.] And over 43 million Americans are on food stamps. [Fact check: The number is correct.]
More than one in five people in their prime working years are not working. We have the worst financial recovery in 65 years. In the last eight years, the past administration has put on more new debt than nearly all of the other presidents combined.
We’ve lost more than one-fourth of our manufacturing jobs since Nafta was approved [Fact check: Not because of Nafta.], and we’ve lost 60,000 factories since China joined the World Trade Organization in 2001. Our trade deficit in goods with the world last year was nearly $800 billion. And overseas, we have inherited a series of tragic foreign policy disasters.

Basically the only things Obama blamed on GW Bush were the deficits and Iraq war that he inherited from GW Bush, and even then Obama would refer to the "previous administration" not GW Bush by name. Trump on the other hand attacks Obama by name and blames just about everything on Obama.

oh bull. Obama didn't blame Bush for anything. He did say he inherited a bad economy and he did.
And Trump did whine about the mess he inherited -- which wasn't a mess.
This whole argument is bogus baby.
