note to Charisa Goblin: I know some people love exposed pregnant bellies but some of us dont, especially when we are out eating. Please wear that top around your girlfriends or family picnics as they will love to take photos with you that you can post on Facebook. You'll get plenty of exposure and attention there.
I was prepared to take the woman's side, until I saw that outfit. That is not what I would consider a crop top. To me, a crop top means something with a little strip of skin showing. That wasn't much more than a bra with sleeves. If she had seen other women dressed similarly who were not pregnant being allowed to stay, she might have a case, but otherwise, no. Most restaurants have a dress code of some kind, unless they're hot dog stands on the beach.
Restaurant was in the right, seriously, who wants to see that while eating.
Hell, I don't want to see it, ever. The only person who is enamored with a big fat naked pregnant belly is the husband, or a voyeur. Cover that thing up.
The Buzz Inn server told KIRO 7 off-camera that Gobin's crop top didn't cover enough of skin to qualify as a shirt and stated that she would have told any person in the same top to "cover up."
The restaurant has a no shirt, no shoes, no service policy. I doubt she was discriminated against because, well, she is pregnant. (it is not like being pregnant is such a rare thing.)
I think a pregnant woman is beautiful but not everyone shares my view so its up to the restaurant. I have twins and can feel her pain with the size of her belly.
