Bad idea, work with the Repubs, there are enough that know the program was the right thing to do to support it becoming law. To tell the truth I am sick and tired of both sides making threats, just shut up and start doing your job.
As a Democrat, I am not in favor of the Democrats shutting down the government, or even threatening to do it. I didn't like it when the Republicans did it and I won't like it if the Democrats do.
This shutdown threat is a total deflection from acting on the DACA expiration.
If anything, passing a DACA law should be a slam dunk.
The Democrats in congress are all in favor of it. A large number of congressional Republicans will most probably also support it. Most importantly, it appears that President Trump also supports it - and it gives him a bipartisan win on a highly visible piece of legislation. That's bigly important - rigght now, Donnie wants/needs all the wins he can get.
The only ones who want to send people back to a country that they never knew are the white nationalists/supremacists.
Stupid as hell. Both parties want to legislate DACA so if the Dems decide to act like spoiled children and grandstand rather than figure out a compromise, the people will see right through them especially since Trump just showed his willingness to work across the aisle.
