This Teen Girl was Not Allowed To Prom Because All Dads Couldn

Quote:
Many schools require specific dress codes which students should comply with. Despite that, most high schools only suggest for outfits to be at least modest.

Such a regulation, however, doesn’t specify which outfit is considered modest and which is not. Proms, on the other hand, allow teenagers to dress as they want because they mainly focus on having fun.
LOL the hell? She looked fine!

I remember those girls in school...the ones that wear skimpy clothes and complain about men looking at them. Heck, most 17 yr old girls (that are attractive), can't wait to dress up to look older and get male attention. She's just pissed that a religious school prom called her out on it. (Prom was at a religious based school, even though she was home schooled. And while she said that other girls wore shorter dresses, in the group photos, I didn't see any...most were moRe appropriate for a religious based high school prom. Hers looked like something someone might wear clubbing at a high end dance club/or Cosmo mag wear.

The Dad's couldn't stop staring? Disgusting, Ogling someone their own daughters age.
I did not find what she wore offensive at all....we have some dirty old men out there.
I guess some men are going to ogle someone unless they are dressed in a Burka.

It was a prom for homeschooled students, why is there any surprise that they 1) had a strict dress code or 2) that they were serious about enforcing it? Nor should it be a shock that they would have issues with provocative dancing.

It is not a public school, they can be as discriminating as they wish.

I think it was more than the dress. Looks like her date is black and she is white. That probably got more attention than the dress. Not saying that is right or wrong, just the most likely reason for the raised eyebrows.
