Michelle Obama: Women 'who voted against Hillary Clinton voted against their own voice' - Washington Times

Quote:
former first lady Michelle Obama said Wednesday that while she wishes the best for President Trump, the women who voted for him “voted against their own voice.”
Mrs. Obama made the comments during a wide-ranging conversation with author Roxane Gay at the Inbound conference in Boston, Boston.comreported.
“Any woman who voted against Hillary Clinton voted against their own voice,” the former first lady said to a round of applause at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center.
“It doesn’t say as much about Hillary, and everybody’s trying to worry about what it means for Hillary and no, no, no, what does this mean for us, as women?” she asked. “That we look at those two candidates, as women, and many of us said, ‘He’s better for me. His voice is more true to me.’ To me that just says, you don’t like your voice. You like the thing you’re told to like.”
Mrs. Obama said women have been socialized, sometimes in “very subtle ways,” to sit and be quiet while the men do all the talking.
what is up with Democrats recent sexism of thinking that women can't decide what they want for themselves? That all women seem to have the same wants and desires?

So... did HRC lose because of sexism, or because not enough women practiced sexism? I'm hearing both...

Is it too much sexism, or not enough sexism?

Ahh.

The woman who couldn't even come up with a decent recipe for Smores and who had absolutely no accomplishments as First Lady for 8 years ...

Mooch now tells us what 10s of millions of women think.

(funny this though. rumors were that in private she despises Bill Clinton's wife)

Hillary Clinton does not speak for me. So no, I didn't vote against my voice, Mrs. Obama.

Plus, is she forgetting we did have a second female candidate, did they also vote against their voice if they voted for anyone other than Jill Stein?

So instead, we are supposed to like the thing you told us to like, eh Michelle?

By the way, some of the people who thought Hillary was going to win in a landslide were predicting that most women all across America would just turn on Trump with a vengeance on election day.

Didn't happen.

So, by that reasoning if I voted for Hillary then that meant I like the idea of women playing stand-by-your-man martyrs in their marriage while their husband engages in sexual activities with various women and think there is no issue with a boss sticking foreign objects in the reproductive orifice of a low level employee half his age?

Just FYI: I voted Johnson. I must like loons whose brains are fogged. Seriously, this election most people voted on who made them cringe the least.

Good one hag!! I can't kudo you again! Sorry to disappoint Mrs. Clinton but I didn't vote based on race, color or religion - I voted for who ever I felt was the best person for the job - if it wasn't her too bad so sad.

I think you meant to say..

"What is up with Michelle Obama's sexism.........

I'm sure you would never assume that one person's view represents everyone in the Democratic party.

That's just crazy.

I also read that Michelle despised Hillary. The only pic of them I've seen in the same room was at the end of Hills campaign.

Thanks for the advice and put down Michelle but I vote for the best candidate not by gender.
