Still not answering the question, but might be my fault for not being clear -- what policies and programs do blacks need that the rest of us don't???
Please be specific as this is confusing to those of us who think of blacks as equals not as victims, and expect the same behavior with the same strengths and weaknesses as the rest of us. As I mentioned in another post, blacks in America have had more handouts, more programs, more opportunities, more help and attention focused on them than any other demographic on the planet, so what exact special programs are you saying that they are needing now?
OP -- THIS is why Rs say the Ds fail blacks -- Rs don't think blacks need special coddling or are victims -- they are perfectly up to the task like the rest of us. It's you democrats who think blacks are inferior and need all these special programs and handouts with your low expectations of blacks.
First off, if some of "us" think we are "equal" then how does some of us explain black poverty being twice the rate of white poverty, black unemployment twice the rate of whites, black wealth 15 times less than whites, etc. Thus, what blacks need specifically is programs to promote economic equality. Whites don't need it because they are not below the normative standards. When whites fall below the normative standards, then you too can apply for such programs.
Rs are hypocrites in that respect. Here is the thing. If liberalism is destructive and oppressive, like republicans argue and you were forced to live under complete liberalism......would you be oppressed by it? An awful lot of R's were arguing that Obama was destroying the future for their children and Grand Children. I don't understand how that could be......as long as your children and grand children inherited your personal responsibility, hard work and super intelligence genes. In other words, R's argue that liberalism can ruin things for people.....BUT NOT RACISM. Liberalism can bring a nation down.....BUT RACISM CANNOT BRING A PEOPLE DOWN. Liberalism is a valid oppressive force......RACISM IS AN EXCUSE for personal failures. If you were forced to live under liberalism......YOU WOULD SEEK HELP to get from under it. You would complain. You would whine and moan. You would blame your limited condition on Liberalism. You would have e victim mentality. Yet, you condemn blacks for exactly those things in our battle living under racism.

It was the White vote that put Obama in office. And when he was elected He and the Democrat party could have done anything they wanted. So what did they actually do?
Bailed out the TBTF Banks.
Passed legislation to protect the Bankster bonus system.
Bailed out GM & Chrysler instead of letting the normal Bankruptcy process clean up those broken companies.
Borrowed a trillion dollars and thereby indenturing generations of future taxpayers to spend on a many hundreds of misguided programs that have since gone bankrupt, busted, or resulted in huge payouts to political cronies. Did any of it go to the poor communities? Nope. They are as messed up as ever and their jobs prospects got worse.
This is what they did when they controlled everything. Did they do anything for Blacks? Hmm. Nope. Why? Because they have that vote regardless.
So in 2016 Hillary Clinton puts her hot sauce bottle in her purse, heads to a Black owned restaurant in SC, starts talking in that Aunt Jemima voice and campaigns for the Black vote. Has she been back? Of course not. And the Black community supports this without question.

What did Obama offer to do for blacks when he was running for office? Obama chastised blacks more, when he was running for office, then he offered programs for blacks. That was actually a smart move to get elected, because whites would not have supported Obama to the degree that they did had he attempted to champion the black struggle. When Obama even hinted as taking the side of blacks on any issue......it created a big uproar in whites. Note "If I had a son he would look like Travon Martin".
When a party gets in office......their policies are calculated to win the next election also. Yes, the democrats had the majority at one time, but if they used that time to usher in programs and policies aimed at blacks......what do you think would have happened in the mid term election and the next presidential election? Politics is a chess game. They are thinking mid term and next election....not just the here and now.
A black president is not a policy or program for blacks.

You are saying blacks need more "treatment" from democrats, and they can't get the help they need from democrats because of alienating white voters.
Blacks don't need anymore help and handouts from the democrat party -- blacks need to help themselves.
Currently, blacks are their own worst enemies and only blacks can help reform the deep cultural problems in many of their communities.
You are assuming blacks are inferior and can't get up to speed with the rest of us without special help and handouts.
That's the soft bigotry of low expectations that democrats have had for decades.
Conservatives expect blacks to be equal and not need all this special treatment and help -- good grief they've had more handputs, help, attention, and pandering than any other demographic on the planet......

Here's a factoid. Of Black American families that have a mom and a dad present, 8% are in poverty, compared to 37% for single Black Woman American families.
Quite a difference. In fact, it tells the whole story, one that white-guilt democratic shamers will cast you down for.
Under capitalism, the underclass gets to live in the housing and neighborhoods nobody else wants. It's not as if they can just move to desirable suburbs.
