No wonder the Los Angeles mayor is in Mexico alot. Many Mexican cities are in upgrade compared to downtown LA.

Seems like many third-world cities are in upgrade to Los Angeles when it comes to cleanliness.

Sad that downtown Kigali in one of Africa's poorest cities and Hermosillo, Sonora look spotless compared to LA.

Downtown Los Angeles

San Julien is just one street in downtown LA but many streets look like that as there are 57,000 people on the streets with no access to bathrooms or showers.

Downtown Hermosillo, Sonora

Downtown Kigali, Rwanda

Looks totally spotless compared to downtown Los Angeles.

We get it OP, you think homeless is a huge mess in L.A.

Failed Eric Garcetti's LA homeless up 23%, plunges 42% in Repubican-run Wichita

I'm beginning to wonder if lovecrowds is, like, unemployed, or something, given the vast number of threads he/she/it starts every day.

Anyway here's 3rd world Los Angeles. Not.

Notice all the construction cranes in this one.

Third-world cities in Brazil have very elite, rich micro-areas in a sea of squalor. Los Angeles of course emulates that.

Los Angeles with it's third-world level of income disparities which are some of the highest in the world has micro-pockets of extreme affluence.

Los Angeles has micro-areas that are stunningly nice that have huge amounts of police and private security details to protect the wealthy from having to encounter the reality of what much of the poverty-looking city looks like.

Los Angeles does not have "micro" areas that are nice and macro areas that are bad. It has macro areas that are nice and micro areas that are bad.

Why is a Kansas guy such a expert on downtown LA??? I was driving through skid row a few months ago. It used to be streets big now it's a entire grid. One of the scariest most depressing things I've ever seen
