People are spending way too much time watching spoiled millionaire ball players make useless statements and inbred hillbillies goose step. Put both groups in a large cage with a bunch of weapons and make it a pay per view event.

Because the stunt cost a lot of tax payer money, and turning your back and walking out disrespects the flag, the military and the nation.

Classic deflection...and who exactly are the buttercups whining every time a NFL player takes a knee...threatening to boycott the league, etc if they are not being properly PC (patriotically correct)?

LOL

Many veterans support them.
All the vets I know are strong supporters of the Constitution as well as the Bill of Rights.

What they don't support are draft dodgers waving the flag around, pretending to be patriots when they are nothing of the kind.

And to make it even worse, Pence stole the stage from an important event for that team, the retirement of Peyton Manning's number.

Just like his boss, he does not care who he steps on to grab the spotlight.

No class. Fail!

I bet they could have used that wasted taxpayers money in Puerto Rico. These Republicans love wasting money.

I personally believe that's all Pence was going for was that moment & they chose to make it about the protesting. They were able to make travel changes so quickly that you have to believe it was all staged.

Tacky, political, swampy, expensive

And yes it costs more to make that stop then not to -- so whatever way you look at it -- that's our money wasted on a political stunt.

There does seem to be a strong support of the protests from vets. For every vet that says they are offended there seems to be one saying they support the right to protest in that matter.

I am not taking Trump and Pence's words for how folks feel. They don't care -- they are using it for political gains.
