People are spending way too much time watching spoiled millionaire ball players make useless statements and inbred hillbillies goose step. Put both groups in a large cage with a bunch of weapons and make it a pay per view event.
Fail, in what way? As for wasting tax payers money, he was going to be on the west coast anyway, who cares if he made a stop? Let's talk about others who have wasted tax payers money; like it or not, most politicians are good at spending others money or maybe you think only the ones who have different views than you do this? Think again. as as the saying goes: suck it up, butter cup!!!!!
and reading your other posts it seems you have a really huge chip on your shoulder. it
Classic deflection...and who exactly are the buttercups whining every time a NFL player takes a knee...threatening to boycott the league, etc if they are not being properly PC (patriotically correct)?

No class. Fail!
I personally believe that's all Pence was going for was that moment & they chose to make it about the protesting. They were able to make travel changes so quickly that you have to believe it was all staged.
Tacky, political, swampy, expensive
And yes it costs more to make that stop then not to -- so whatever way you look at it -- that's our money wasted on a political stunt.
There does seem to be a strong support of the protests from vets. For every vet that says they are offended there seems to be one saying they support the right to protest in that matter.
I am not taking Trump and Pence's words for how folks feel. They don't care -- they are using it for political gains.
