Oh how far they've fallen...here are just a few.

According to Republicans the president now may:

Say nothing when a foreign leader’s bodyguards brutally attack peaceful protesters in the streets of Washington, D.C.

Tweet GIFs of yourself violently attacking the media and your former political opponent

Encourage police officers not to be “too nice” when apprehending criminal suspects

Help draft a misleading statement about the purpose of a meeting between your son, other top campaign aides and representatives of a rival foreign power intent on interfering in the election

Deliver a speech to the Boy Scouts of America that includes mockery of a former president and winking references to sexual orgies, and then lie by claiming that the head of that organization called and told you it was the best speech ever delivered in Boy Scout history

Hang a framed copy of a fake Time magazine cover celebrating your business acumen in your golf clubs around the world

Mock a female television anchor’s appearance, saying the anchor was “bleeding badly from a face-lift” at a holiday gathering at your private resort

Force your cabinet members to take turns extolling your virtues in front of television cameras

Welcome into the Oval Office a man who threatened to assassinate your predecessor, whom he called a “subhuman mongrel,” and who referred to your political opponent as a “worthless *****”

Continue to deny that Russia attempted to influence the presidential election, despite the consensus of the American intelligence community — and yet also blame your predecessor for not doing anything to stop that interference

Grant temporary White House press credentials to a website that, among other things, claims that Sept. 11 was an “inside job” and that the massacre of 20 schoolchildren in Newtown, Conn., was a hoax

I am definitely looking forward to future Democratic presidents being able to do all the things Trump has done while Republicans are either rendered silent or publicly mocked. Not only has Trump done everything Republicans have railed against, Trump has done everything Trump has railed against!

OKAY we get it. Trump is not a polished politician and he lacks the finesse of a lawyer who guards every word that emits from their mouth in case it could be used against them but you know what Trump is exactly who this country needed to wake it up from its slumber and letting the Government both Reps and Dems take us all over the edge of the cliff.

Trump has caused many to get off their butts and take notice and to get involved in politics and that is a good thing.

Haha sure okay. Republicans now ignore every bit of hypocrisy Trump exhibits because it's Trump doing it. Trump hires family, charges the Secret Service to use the facilities in order to protect him - thus making much more money off of his own protection than he would his salary, gets into childish Twitter wars, campaigns on taxpayer money, golfs constantly (but he dedicated a trophy to Puerto Rico so there's that) and travels to his own resorts nearly every weekend. He's on track to spend more on his travel in one year than Obama did in eight. It's a complete joke but at least he mocked a disabled man for the entertainment of Republicans.

While everyone is focused on the media narratives, his tweets and some select comments, Trump is gutting regulations behind the scenes.

He could just read off a list of the regulations that no longer exists and probably win the election.

While what Trump is doing is awful, a lot of the results will do the most harm to areas that supported Trump so they get to suffer the results. For example - let's see all those coal jobs follow the pollution they will have to breathe. I can't even feel bad for them since they voted for it.

nobody here is saying Trump is not polished, we are saying he is a lunatic and wholly unfit to lead.

Let me be super clear, Trump has fought just about everyone , from the pope to POWs.

Your pretense that trump was needed to "wake " this nation from it's "slumber" is bogus. You could have picked a civil honest man to do the same thing, you CHOSE Trump. a documented racist. A sexual assaulter , a man who recently settled his Fraud case for 25 million! ie guilty as hell.

You knew and know who and what Trump is. You know he is deeply involved with Russian financiers and you know his team colluded with Russia to subvert our election. You know all this but deny it so you can feel OK about your very poor choice.

The only good thing Trump has done is to mobilise the left. So in that sense you are correct. Trump is the GOP's Albatross.

I doubt it, anything to the extreme becomes damaging, I understand certain regulations my general feeling is that as soon as they start coming off you will see why they were put in place. Just an example, Trump announces the repeal of the regulations on flood control for new infrastructure, Harvey hit and it showed you exactly why you need storm run off surface, but hey I am sure it will fine or not.

"mobilise the left."

Yep, maybe the Left can "mobilise" themselves another destruction of a foreign nation like Libya or Syria. Maybe you can trade some more Deserters for Terrorists, or bring more into the country. Maybe sell a few more guns to drugs lords, or blame Islamist attacks on videos. Perhaps you can have the IRS investigate your political rivals. Perhaps the continued demonization of Law enforcement? Wonder why Trump won? Look in the mirror.

yeah but do we really have enough Americans so dumb they don't understand our wealth is in large part built on those many many regulations?

Perhaps they are. Perhaps Trump will be able to scrape up enough votes based on such nonsense, but the long term damage will be horrendous.

the fiduciary rule would have been a boon to the working stiff, but Trump has managed to blocked it, and is presently gutting it.

Pai is destroying the FCC, and has blocked all the consumer wins Wheeler put in place. A disaster for rural americans.

yet i bet very few trumper even know how the FCC is redrawing all the rule to allow corps to rip off the public, and still not have to compete with each other.

Pai is a tool of the uber wealthy and will be rewarded with fat stock options from the seats on various boards when his term finishes...
