He's had three major hurricanes and the wild fires in California to contend with, zero progress on meeting campaign promises, North Korea and Iran to deal with. His base is eroding and he has Bannon who may turn on him as well. Add to the mix that he's elderly and all eyes are watching him ready to rip into him like a monkey on a cupcake for any miss step. That's a whole lot to deal with for someone as ill equipped emotionally as Trump is. Corker's comment is not only believable, but to be expected.
Except of course beyond the part where Vanity Fair is a publisher of fake news stories based on anonymous sources, such as the one in the OP, none of it's true about Trump.

Your post only proves it.

Vanity Fair is a Left wing rag and has always been anti-Trump. Desperate Dems have tried everything to get rid of Trump and this is the bottom of their barrel of dirty tricks. I wouldn't be surprised if Media Matters and the DNC are consulting with all of these Leftist media in a coordinated attack, like they did during the election. Including their trolls posting here en masse.

Watch Trump's interview with Hannity last night and tell us if this is a man having a meltdown. I dare you!

No he wouldn't. I never would've voted for him if he ran as a democrat. He's an immature egotistical hot head infant, doesn't matter what his leaning. Always has been, always will be.

...like the people at Vanity Fair.
If ANYONE other than Trump were in office, then publishers like Vanity Fare might have to go back to writing partisan biased crap to support their agenda. With Trump in office, all they, or anyone has to do, is report the facts.

he's a gift for late-night comedy, but must be a real threat on all the people who have to be smart, witty or creative to come up with a story. You know why you don't hear as much from people like Bill Mahar lately? Because the schit that people like he can come up with pales in comparison to the train-wreck reality show that is going on in our country right now, thanks in big part to Trump.

I keep checking the White House youtube website to see if today's Press Briefing was posted yet. Evidently John Kelly unexpectedly appeared to scold and shame the pressitutes for their fake news. Told them he had no plans to leave and the hardest part of his job wasn't Trump it was THEM! Said they needed to find better unnamed sources.

In psychology it's called projection and magical thinking. Looney Leftists think if they click their ruby slippers three times Hillary will be President.

Of course they won't. Rather than address Trump directly, they'd rather believe an "anonymous sources" story.

Having spent a considerable about of time around older adults - I think Trump is showing signs of dementia. I think that the stress is getting to him - he LOVES to be loved and President ain't the job for that.

Stress and uncertainty can hasten dementia.
