Trump Derangement Syndrome has completely deluded the thinking of many on the left. And forget about the fact that MAGA is a phrase uttered by GOPers and Dems alike over the last however many decades (Google it). Triggered by a hat. Go figure.
It wasn't because of the shirt or a hat, but rather the Trump flag. And if I heard right, school was over. Lastly, the mother is wrong. Campaign slogans are not the same as American spirit. I don't care if it's "Hope and change" and "Make America Great Again."
Hmmm "Hope and Change" How could we forget that one? The battle cry of Obama and his followers to fundamentally change America. That was his hope. To take it down a notch and make white people liable for all the racism and bad stuff that has happened in the past 200 years. "Hope and Change" I remember seeing it all over a local town near me that is a mecca for gay people in the Summer. I don't remember a single incident of anyone calling it hate speech or resorting to violence to stop someone from wearing it on a hat or Tshirt.
MAGA is a call to return to Patriotism. To make America great. To take pride in ones country. MAGA is for every American and Legal immigrant but it has become a trigger for the weak minded.

Its a school. Kids go there for a education, they dont go there for added stress, or to argue their parents politics. The fact that in your words it "triggered" someone indicates RIGHT THERE that its intended to be disruptive.

You're so sure that your side is the only ones who care about America and that the rest of us hate America. That's called delusion. It's also hatred of the other side of the aisle. It's fundamentally wrong and anyone who believes the other side of their aisle they sit on hates America is a danger to America and are being mislead by people whose sole job it is t gather ratings for the radio and TV shows. People should be smarter than to fall into that trap.
