It's no surprise that many Jews don't want to be associated with pretend Christians. You know the ones I'm talking about. They preach and preach and preach their dogma at us while living the exact opposite of the words of the man they named their religion after.
I don't blame the Jews for attempting to disassociate themselves from such hypocrisy. Many of us recovering Christians feel the same way.

What warm feelings? Evangelical and/or fundamentalist Christians look forward to the day when Jews, among Mormons and Roman Catholics and all the other unbelievers, are going to hell, unless they are converted. They support Israel politically because Israel has to exist in order for their interpretation of Revelations - specifically, the battle of Armageddon - to come true.
Oddly, Jews don't feel especially loved by people who hold this belief. And neither do the rest of us unbelievers.

What amazes me is that Christians, Jews, and Muslims share the same God of Abraham, have comparable scriptures, and still can't get along. Perhaps their god should have explained what he wanted in a little more detail.

Hmmm... I grew up in an Evangelical church, and I never heard anyone talk as though they were looking forward to others going to Hell. So I'll have to assume these dark sentiments are a projection of your own troubled soul.
