I seriously doubt that Lebrons daily life is truly impacted by social injustice! These millionaires look so silly protesting causes that they are a world away from, and in a country that allows them to be multi millionaires! They are very shallow indeed.
Again with the country "allows" them BS.
This is such a dog whistle, it isn't funny.
Some very successful people don't forget where they come from. They actually believe that they owe something back to those who have not had the same opportunities. They also keep in touch with friends and family who don't live in what you may consider a rarefied world and whose daily lives may well be filled with social injustices.
Not everyone pulls the ladder up behind them.
It is patently clear who is being shallow in this situation, and it sure as heck isn't LeBron James or any other athlete using his or her visibility to bring attention to the continuing realities of inequality in this country.
when black athletes actually care about issues..."OMG take their money". It's the first response certain people have, because they think they own these players and only want them to shuck and jive. This is old school racism refined. Thank you to the person that already posted Lebron's charitable work. Saving me from doing it.

yes yes we know, anyone that doesn't agree with you is a closet racist

The moment a "spoiled" athlete uses their status to talk about causes that the "little people" want them to discuss here come the BlakeJones's of the world talking about everything but the cause.
-take his money
-you're not oppressed
-you're an idiot
-they don't even know why their upset
I didn't even say you're name but here you are taking my original post personal. I must have had deadly accuracy. If you constantly feel like you're being called a racist, then maybe there's something to it. You constantly find yourself mad at us "others" for having opinions on real issues. You can't even seem to come up with a real response outside of trolling and namecalling and snarky right-wing flash card responses.
Anyways, Lebron consistently uses his status to show support for blacks that aren't rich. Salute to him.
Hello? BHO? We don't know about his college grades because he refused to release his transcripts. We do know he was a doper throughout a good portion of his life, due to his own statements and pictures. He was also perhaps the most racist person ever to occupy the WH. A person, among other things, attended a racist, black supremacist church for much of his adult life.
Andrew Jackson or really most presidents before 1950...

Same guy who called Phil Jackson racist for calling his entourage a posse, the same term used by most NBA players themselves. Everyone is racist, got it!

Yes that must be it - meanwhile, you should work on your grammar.
