Sen. John McCain admitted Wednesday that he gave the FBI a dossier detailing claims of a Russian blackmail plot against President-elect Donald Trump.
The Arizona lawmaker, a longtime Trump critic, made the public statement as questions piled up about his alleged role in spreading an unverified and error-riddled document that Trump has denounced as “a complete and total fabrication.”

This is just total Bull****. McCain is no hero here!
He did it as payback and to cover his, Hillary's and Obam's tracks in the Uranium One deal. Projecting what they did, onto Trump.
Hmmm...maybe he did it because he saw the obvious:

1. Trump is of low moral character.
2. Trump has no experience which would justify his election to the highest office in this land.
3. Trump has a problem with truth and reality. He may not understand where they begin and fantasy ends.
4. Trump lacks the ability to conciliate and reconcile people with different points of view.
5. Trump doesn't understand the laws or our Constitution.
6. Trump is bigoted.
7. Trump is unstable. He is for something one day and against it the next.
8. He is incapable of forgiving and letting bygones be bygones. He always seeks retribution.
9. He is obsessed with the media and people he defeated in elections. He will not move on.
10. He lacks a basic understanding of most American foreign and domestic policy.

You've raved and ranted for months about what a great man Trump is, but the chickens are coming home to roost.

Trump needs to expand his base, not narrow it by attacks on a man who served his country by being held prisoner of war and tortured for years in an enemy POW camp while he avoided the draft. His fights with Senator Bob Corker are equally nonsensical. Trump needs Corker's support to move legislation through Congress. Yet, he engages in silly fights with him on Twitter. Other senators like Senator Ben Sasse from Nebraska see it, but are slightly less vocal. His presidency is going nowhere.

Trump's approval rating averages 39% when seven major polls are averaged. Its been this way for months. He is going over like a lead balloon. We all saw what happened when he tried to get Congress to repeal the Affordable Care Act.

The GOP runs nine points behind the democrats today on a generic Congressional Ballot. The Congressional elections are a year away. Trump is gradually turning into a disaster for the GOP. Bob Corker and John McCain can see the train coming down the tracks.

Come November 2020, many GOPers will begin to understand the mistake they made in choosing Trump. It is not going to be pretty. The Trump presidency will not end well. In end, Trump will occupy a mean and low place in American history.

We are all evaluated by everything we have done in life. I have overlooked many faults of McCain because of his POW status but have also always felt his judgment is flawed by the things he went through in that POW camp. "Vengeance is mine" sayeth the Lord. It is sad to see someone cause the citizens in this country so much damage after claiming to be such a hero.

We have a president who is doing his best to improve conditions for our middle class but he cannot do it himself. My hope is the next election will get rid of those who are in office just to stay in office and give him people who will help him do the job that needs to be done.

And the hypocrites who are fabricating stories and slandering the president can just stop any time they want. We were right to vote for him and we are not listening to your garbage about his being rude to families of the veterans. I remember the American Legion meeting I attended when we were told Obama stated that veterans should pay for their own medical expenses. That president was an elitist jerk and I am glad we are rid of him. I am looking forward to the day when we are rid of some more of the jerks in D. C.

I can't even watch, nor listen to McCain anymore. It is too painful, and he needs to retire.

Seems funny the left is now idolizing the man who "slipped" into Syria and took photos shaking hands with known terrorists.

He has fallen as a "hero" It does not give anyone a pass to frame anyone for something that never happened.

He did it because that's what people are supposed to do with information like that contained in the dossier.

“Upon examination of the contents, and unable to make a judgment about their accuracy, I delivered the information to the Director of the FBI. That has been the extent of my contact with the FBI or any other government agency regarding this issue.”

McCain's a disgrace to every person who ever wore a uniform. he is a complete sell out without a shred of integrity or honor, a traitor not only to his party and constituents, but to every American.
