Wubbels says she will use a portion of the money to help people get access to police body camera footage of incidents involving themselves, The Salt Lake Tribune reports. Her attorney's firm will provide free legal services for those seeking access to video. Wubbels says she also plans to donate to the Utah Nurses Association and help lead the #EndNurseAbuse campaign.
good for her
Look for more dishonest cops to disable body cams and mysteriously lose footage.
Just as not all liberals are lunatics, only a small percentage of cops are dishonest or corrupt.
BS. It went way beyond a “small percentage” of cops a hell of a long time ago. Sure, I’ll concede that it’s still a minority for now, but it’s a very large minority.
Some of it is training and that's going to be difficult to overcome. Remember, this guy was being told to arrest her by his commanding officer. It's sort of unfortunate that the arresting officer was punished more than his commanding officer.
I'll note something that has been noted before which is also a part of the problem. The overwhelming vast majority side with the nurse in her refusal to do what she knew she was not required to do. In the case of someone like Eric Garner, he gets all the blame for doing the same.

actually a small minority. It doesnt even take many to make a ton of abuse.

Its a large majority and only a small minority get caught. Cameras are helping to change this.
If not for the video in this case, it would have never existed.

The commanding officer should be fired and still doesn’t completely excuse the officer.

Agreed. The fundamental problem is that the bad cops are covered for and protected by the rest.
