With the UN and it's known hate for Israel, what fails in one council will be passed to another council and to another council. Doesn't matter if it's NYC or Hague.
Quote:
Palestinian U.N. envoy Riyad Mansour said the General Assembly would vote on a draft resolution calling for Trump’s declaration to be withdrawn, which was vetoed by the United States in the 15-member U.N. Security Council on Monday.
When the UN decides what the US is allowed to SAY and not even wait for it to physically do, it's time for the US gov't to put it's foot down and close all entrances to the UN on it's perimeter in NYC.
So I guess this means you're against democracy, against working toward peace, against friendship among nations, and against property rights.
What does democracy, peace, friendship, and property rights have to do with the UN?
OR, to state it more clearly: If you think that is what the UN promotes you have not been paying attention or looked into their hearings and resolutions.

you are kidding right? this country has done the same thing for 12 presidents, ie putting our embassy in tel aviv, and yet there has been no peace in the middle east.
here is a little reading for you, whether you agree with the author or not;
and you might note that clinton signed into law that the president must move the embassy to jerusalem, or sign a waiver explaining why, as noted in this article;
Good suggestion on banishing the UN...now if we could get Israels hand out of our pockets and its influence out of our congress
The world demands Israel adheres to the laws and conventions set forth by the UN charter. Unless it does so, it will be seen as a pariah, whose only goal in the international community is to further it's own ambitions and nothing else.
The world, and most of the nations in it, can't always be wrong about Israel.

please dont make me laugh. iran and north korea both belong to the UN and they dont follow the laws and conventions set forth by the UN, along with a number of other countries that belong to the UN. so to suggest that israel must do so is hypocritical in the extreme.
