It was an awful joke. The most disturbing part of her story was the kiss scene which was offensive as well
If he would have grabbed her breasts sufficient to wake her, she'd have punched his fishlips down his throat and thusly ended the matter there.

I saw the pic. She had on kevlar armor and still had her helmet on. What's your point? He would have had to squeeze really hard to wake her up?

I just watched the View interview, she is really promoting her radio talk show everywhere. She barely talked about the assault

This whole thing is really damaging for sexual assault victims, she seems like she has an alternative agenda

So he didn’t grope her, correct?

In the least it doesn’t show he did in the picture. It’s her word vs the photographer/Franken and everyone else on the plane

It was an awful joke. The most disturbing part of her story was the kiss scene which was offensive as well but is a gray area for sexual assault considering she consented to the kiss
Please understand that he sexually harassed her, regardless of whether he actually touched her. The photo is irrefutable evidence that at a minimum he sexually harassed her.

Of course its sexual harassment however people don't know the difference between that and assault.

Look at the title its highly inaccurate. She consented to the kiss and he did not grope her

He apologize for his inappropriate joke and she accepted that it.

Also, the way he forced that kiss on her indicated to me that he was only interested in sexing her up, not trying to begin some sort of respectful dating of her. Therefore, he is a sexual predator that was thwarted and then retaliated with many acs of harassment.
It would be impossible for Franken to respectfully date Tweeden.....he's been married to another woman since 1975.

You jumped from saying pics proved he groped her to saying words are sexual harassment. The picture doesn't she he groped her. You are all over the place

But Im glad you said words are sexual harassment, which we could apply that logic to our sitting president.

True. If he actually groped somebody, he deserved to be booted, just as Moore - and Trump, who is a molester, despite his sycophant fan base denying it with every laughable excuse in the book - deserve, regardless of political party.

But that is not how things work these days in American, a nation paralyzed by partisan idiocy. Just to give a disturbing example, some months back a bunch of my online friends and I were on Teamspeak, playing a game together, when news of John McCain's brain cancer broke. One of my online friends mentioned it to the group. All but one of us online at that time is progressive and hates Trump and the right-wing idiocy that is killing this nation, and all but one of us - the right-winger - immediately expressed sympathy and basically "that sucks" when we heard the news, even though we were never particularly impressed with McCain and have no love of his party. What did the right-wing stooge say instead? "Which side is he on?"

And that, right there, sums up right-wingers in this nation:
- They'll gladly change the rules to support their spiteful party, and don't even have the decency to express some sympathy if a person of the "wrong" party is dying of something horrible, like brain cancer.
- They are so uninformed that don't even know what party national level people, like John McCain, are in?!

What else needs to be said about them... idiocy!
