A veteran Baltimore detective tasked with solving murders became the city’s latest homicide victim Thursday, a day after he was shot in the head while investigating a killing in West Baltimore.
Det. Sean Suiter, 43, died surrounded by his wife, five children and fellow officers at the Maryland Shock Trauma Center as the manhunt continued for his killer. By nightfall, authorities were offering rewards totaling nearly $170,000 for information leading to his shooter’s capture.
Where is Black Lives Matter? Al Sharpton? The Maryland Democrat Party? All the other race hustlers? This officer was just as black as Freddie Gray, yet nobody is rioting in the streets of Baltimore.
I guess in order to get attention from the libs, you need a rap sheet a mile long and a history of drug dealing.
A policeman is killed in the line of duty. That is a tragedy, regardless of the race of the policeman or his killer. The cops are doing all they can to identify the shooter, and when they do he will presumably be tried and, if convicted, incarcerated for a long, long time. They even put out a $170,000 reward. So why do we need outrage?
The outrage comes when a cop kills a black man, and that cop is not tried, convicted or punished. Each case stands on its own merits, and I'm not passing judgment on any specific case. I'm just pointing out the false equivalence of the original post.
Where's Republicans' outrage is more like it. Because it was an African-American cop, it's been pretty quiet here from the Repugs when usually there would be a 2000 response thread on a police officer being shot.

The Baltimore police have not apprehended a suspect in this case. So where is the outrage? Why aren't BLM and liberals in general demanding that this killer be found and brought to justice? No political mileage in it, that's why.
This is why there isn't that much outrage. The suspect who did this will go to prison. Murder a police officer of any race and you're done for. The same isn't always the case when a police officer is the one doing the murdering.

Lies, lies and more lies. They'll riot even before the cop can be arrested, charged and convicted. Besides, the cops in the Freddy Grey death were arrested, charged and tried and the BLM rioters still burned the city down.

Don't forget the BCPD was subjected to review by the DOJ, led by anti-cop racists Eric Holder and Loretta Lynch. Our friends on the left have conveniently spotty memories.

Except..in most cases the outrage came before anyone was tried or convicted..i.e. Charlotte. At the end of the day the shooting was justified but nobody could replace the nights of horror that the looters and thugs partook in.
