Lindsey Graham, Then and Now

November 30, 2017 at 4:11 pm ESTBy Taegan Goddard16 Comments
“I think he’s a kook. I think he’s crazy… He’s not fit to be president.”

— Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC), about Donald Trump in an interview on Fox News on February 17, 2016.

“What concerns me about the American press is this endless, endless attempt to label the guy some kind of kook not fit to be president.”

— Graham, interviewed on CNN earlier today.

I don't think anything came back to bite him. He just had a reality check.

Graham was running for the presidential nomination against Trump and others at the time. Can't take what he said at that time seriously

Really? Why?

It's one thing to disagree with the policies of the people you're running against. But saying they're unfit for office? That's another level.

Graham knows exactly who and what trump is, and he's another one selling his soul for tax breaks for his donors.

I saw that earlier, the Rs are publicly rallying to Trump's defence, i suspect to stop him going crazy and torpedoing the bill.

I hate the bill but i take delight in knowing it could well tip the balance, and give us the house..

Lindsay Graham is finding common cause with Trump in advocating military action in NK. Graham is a war hawk who has not yet met a military action he was opposed to. If Trump wants to go to war, Graham will be standing by his side as the bombs start flying. Graham will be Trump's enabler.
