N. Pelosi's desperate attempt to keep her leadership power becomes erratic with mixed message/Armageddon & greatness

Thousands of bills have been passed over several hundred years but if this tax bill passes its end of times.

Poor Nancy, like a boxer who stayed in the ring to long, looks and sounds punch drunk. Maybe its the meds she's on, the pressure, or age itself, who knows, but her ability to focus and express ideas is escaping her.

One moment its Armageddon if the tax bill is signed into law and the next moment its American greatness.
Rep. Steny Hoyer stepped in to the rescue, but poor Nancy couldn't shut-up and like a good captain goes down with the ship. As long as she is the minority leader in the house it will remain a ship of fools.
Hang in there Nancy, the GOP loves you.

When given a chance to save herself she doubled down on stupid. She really is master and its time for Grasshopper to snatch the pebble from her hand.

Talk about a disconnect.
Yeah they're all bad, power attracts the worst of the worst.

Her mind is addled. It’s fun to watch her crash and burn.

Nancy has looked and sounded punch drunk for years. Her cheese slipped off her cracker decades ago....

I just find it funny that she's stayed in power despite the horrible democratic performances in recent elections.

The reason why? She's a powerhouse fundraiser due to all her connections with deep pocket elite, wall street etc.

Basically, she's almost 180degrees opposite the dem brand message and has done a poor job leading her party other than to raise money which in turn got wasted on losing elections.

Her retention of power is a clear sign IMO that Hillary still controls enough of the DNC to dictate terms.

It's time for her to go. Back in 2011, 60 minutes blew the lid on Pelosi and others enjoying big stock market gains based on insider information. Funny if the average US citizen did that, we go to prison. When politicians do it, it is called ethics violation and nothing is done.

Not hard to understand at all....
  • She's elected from a protected, non-contested district. (San Francisco)
  • She's never challenged in the Democrat primary there because the full force of the DNC would prevent another Democrat from doing so.
  • Thus, Nancy will hold that seat until she dies, or resigns.
Pelosi would never stand up in a real contested election especially in a battleground state.

I'm not talking about even running against her, but rather not giving her leadership roles within the party like she still has now.

I think the DNC would be well served to put forward a fresh face as house minority leader.

Someone that isn't old, white and worth 200+ million.
