A great big Thank You to all the "I don't care if it's made in China as long as I can save .50" shoppers who bought all that cheap cr*p.
You have funded a Chinese air craft carrier and the munitions bound to kill many Americans should we have to go to war.

Somebody’s gotta keep all these walmart and amazon shoppers in their place. Maybe when there is further unrest among the lower caste in our society trump and bezos can hire chinese and russian militia to put down the popular uprising.

I think that was true in the past, those shoppers certainly started it. Now, it's Amazon. China doesn't even appear to be paying shipping costs, I think our government is. Unless it's some necessary electronic item, I don't buy Chinese stuff at all.

Well, of course NAFTA does not concern China at all.

Nevertheless, our trade deficit with Mexico (part of NAFTA) and China (not part of NAFTA) has grown quite a bit since Donald JOHN Trump became President:

As to China stating by North Korea: that has been discussed quite a bit. China simply does not want a 'failed state' on their border, with all that such implies.

I don't think economics is understood here.

American, with a work force of maybe 100 million decent workers, could not even start to supply the world with everything from food to consumer goods to raw materials, etc.

In fact, we wouldn't want to.

If your desire is for your child or you to work in a factory for $20 an hour for their entire life, then you probably shouldn't be on the internet discussing these matters. The world is complex.

We told the world for a century or more - do like us and you can be like us....and now people want them to starve and get around in rickshaws again? They have just as much right to the world's resources as you do - and just as much right to health and happiness.....

The problem with the USA is we sold out. We have no government, no policy and no one who cares about anything other than money and grabbing puzzy.

That means it's the end for us. You have to have a national creed to succeed - some kind of shared values. Americans lack these other than a taste for fatty foods and opiates.

Thanks! Now to me, there's a huge difference between China saying "China announced that it was going to stand with North Korea." as said in the OP and stating they'd stand with NK IF the US launched a pre-emptive strike or tell NK they were on their own IF they struck first as those articles state. Sounds like perfectly reasonable positions for China to take as opposed to the rethaer misleading statement in the OP.
