Local CBS news investigated one of the largest Medical Pot dealers in AZ and found that they've got a mold problem on the Pot they're selling and when confronted the CEO did a perfect Tobacco company executive impersonation in their defense.
The video is enlightening to say the least...
Lab tests find mold on medical marijuana sold in Phoenix; 'It should be pulled off the shelf'

(CBS 5 INVESTIGATES) -
Independent test results found mold on medical marijuana sold in the Valley that would not meet standards in some other states.
Unlike most states with medical marijuana programs, Arizona does not establish contaminant standards for cannabis or require that cannabis products be tested in any way.
In an interview, Encanto Green Cross managing member Bill Brothers dismissed the lab results as unreliable and insisted the dispensary had no ethical or legal obligation to remove any cannabis from sale.
There are food and product recalls all the time. Why is this in P&C?
Um, you know why - scromiting and/or Nervous Nellie syndrome.
Yes, retail marijuana products should be held to health standards. Just as, for instance, store-bought chocolate chip cookies are. That's one reason to legalize and regulate it. AZ may need to improve its laws and/or its regulatory structure.

There is no recall due to the fact that there's no state law requiring any safety oversight of the MMJ business. That was/is a political decision when the laws were created.
Given that MMJ is political at it's very essence and given that the states that've made it legal didn't bother to add in actual product safety testing when they gave it over to the conglomerates/venture capital people to make billions off of it kind of puts it in P&OC

Not "just" AZ by the way. While 2 states have some guidance when it comes to mold it's interesting that the standard of allowed mold in those 2 states is reportedly higher on something you ingest than it is on a house you'd live in where the tolerance is ZERO.
Because Reefer Madness may have the strongest 'legs' of any movie ever made.
So anyone who points out the very real hazard of ingesting a poison called black mold is somehow automatically equated to refer madness?
Hey, go ahead and roll up your mold of choice and enjoy the after effects.
Personally I think if someone is selling something people ingest they should be made to follow at least basic health standards for FOOD and other Drugs or do you think those are stupid as well?

You really should work on your reading comprehension, I said NOTHING remotely close to what you allege. I responded to a question of why a piece on a faulty product and the possibility of recall, very common occurrences, was in P&C.
