I guess you never lived in Los Angeles. Hispanic culture is very much part of the American culture in the western states.. My culture might be very different than yours but it's 100% American... In my culture we frown upon supporters of the Confederate flag because their actions are "un-American" and their symbols represent hate. In the south you see a lot of support for this symbol of hate...

Ironic, people despise her language for despising someone’s language.
We aren't despising her language; we're despising the message and mentality behind it. The language is just the delivery mechanism.
The words she used reflect deep hatred, bias, and ignorance. She represents the bottom-of-the-barrel group of sub-humans residing in this country at the moment. In the eyes of the Founding Fathers, she and her type would be considered refuse/garbage.
If you're looking for irony, think of the irony of her rejecting the very foundations of this country, that "all are welcome". This junk rejects the message of the Statue of Liberty, one of America's most notable and historic landmarks. She's attacking the very roots and heart of this country. If anyone should leave, it's anti-American white-trash scum like her.

we cannot even enforce our current immigration laws, I am not very optimistic about the future.

I agree with this and I am not very optimistic as well. Most immigrant to america are coming to make money or go to school and go home and many have no love of America. Even many of the mexican immigrants i know want to return at some point, and send most of their money back to mexico while using benefits. California just proposed another billion in health care for illegal immigrants, medi-cal is a mess.
This is not like previous generation where people wanted to become american, you can go to any Mexico-America national team soccer match and there are way more Mexico flags flying and the game could be played in Pasadena on American soil!

Why not? Why must Hispanics, Asians, etc. live a white culture? Many have been here just as long as many of our families.
Has it occurred to anyone that maybe the woman was mentally ill? Maybe she is on meds that screwed her up even more. It happens and it happens a lot.
In AMERICA? Perish the thought, with the outstanding, affordable, mental health care, and the american govts focus in making sure ALL americans have access to affordable MH care!
