Linda Sarsour who inspired the Women's March on Washington and claims to be a "Champion of Women," is being accused of enabling a sexual predator to grope, molest, and sexually harass a woman at her organization the Arab American Association. When the woman came forward within her organization, she body shamed and threatened the girl - because the man was a good Muslim who went to the mosque a lot.
The "Champion of Women" said that women that looked like the victim (fat) do not have this happen to them so it must be lies. She also threatened to make sure that the victim never worked in NYC again and would be sued if she continued to pursue her claims that she was repeatedly sexually assaulted.
It blows my mind how this woman has been able to fool the feminist movement in this country, even to the point that women were wearing American flag hijabs during the Women's March after the inauguration.
I guess its the old "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" thing. No matter how reprehensible a human she is.
