Unpopular? I should say.

It is so unpopular Republicans are planning a huge an ad campaign to convince people that running up the national debt is good deal.

The fact that they are doing this should tell you something about this bill. Its bad.
More Greantess from the Great One! Love it when every little thing Trump does causes the Snowflakes teaty crybabies to freak out. May we have 7 more years of both.

do you folks ever once say to yourselves

What if I'm wrong?

The President WILL sign the Tax Cuts Bill today - the CR that they passed contains a waiver to Pay-Go.
Senators voted 66-32 to approve the roughly four-week continuing resolution (CR), which funds the government through Jan. 19, hours after it passed the House.

The Hill reported this at 7:15pm last night.

Government shut downs don't work out well for either party, especially right before Christmas.

DNC knows nor should know who will get the blame after using each of the GOP lead shutdowns as a club to beat republicans over the head.

Delaying the tax bill two weeks wasn't going to change anything and at this point is just sour grapes. The thing is done and we all must bear it as best we can.

More to the point is we are now going into a new year and the United States government still does *NOT* have a budget. As the Hill article correctly points out when Congress returns in January it is going to be one long, nasty and bitter fight to get a budget deal done, but it must happen sooner or later.

Meanwhile as of January less money will begin rolling into government coffers thanks to this tax bill. That will only continue as more and more provisions become active and tax season gets into high gear. In short ways need to be found to pay for that dog of a "tax reform" before the credit markets get spooked.

I highly doubt this is true. The people he caters to aren't the brightest bulbs. So many people are willfully ignorant in this country. Education not only gives you more choices, but it helps you reason better and make good decisions. Most people will just see their taxes go down, and either won't realize this all goes away within ten years, or they won't care. They can't see beyond the end of their nose. I never used to be this cynical, but I am now. By the time they realize they've been screwed, the sleight of hand will be to blame illegals, or Muslims, or the poor, or whoever...

Yep. The Republican clown car has careered out of control. It's sad that they are so hell bent on "success" that they produce this POS bill which is in fact a huge failure. The ultra rich, the ones who will benefit from the "tax cut," do not make up the majority of America's voters.
