There will be no fake news awards because it will just showcase Trump's mental instability to the nation and the world. If Trump does go ahead with it, it will, undoubtedly, be over the objection of his entire staff. Even his staff are probably getting tired of their association with this dotard.

If I am a Trump adviser, I am doing everything I can to get him to cancel the awards. It would be a very embarrassing moment for him and the country.

I am not a very big fan of Trump the person, but I am a very big supporter of his policies. That said, one of my biggest gripes with him has been his war on the media. It is true that left-wing media talks badly about him 24/7 and will run any story that makes him look bad, even if they haven't fact-checked it.

But acknowledging CNN, MSNBC, NY Times, etc only gives them more power as they realize he's paying attention. If Trump would simply ignore them all and not address the fake news on Twitter four times a week, it would take a lot of power away from them.

The delay is because of the HUGE number of new entries now being submitted daily.

Fake news is booming.

For those who the main news media opposes, turning the other cheek has done no good. They needed at be exposed.

What Trump has done has shined the light on how the propaganda news outlets operate. Everyone may not believe it - but it now in everyone's heads. Wasn't Brian Ross either suspended or fired by ABC for fake news? That would have never happened before Trump took them on.

Aside from looking very foolish, if the reality show host goes forward with this dumb idea, he will find himself at odds with the most conservative polling organization around.

Rassmussen found that 40% of those polled think Fox News has the most fake news. If The Appresident and the most dishonest person ever to sit in the Oval Office finds differently, his extreme bias for the state news agency will become embarrassingly obvious to all.
