Who is forcing anyone into the medical field? If the premise of this post is true, the only rights that would be violated would be those of the patient and it could go beyond just rights to death.
It's not about the medical field. It's about the use of force to get what you want when no ones rights have been violated.
Your rights end where mine start.

Of course I do. You're the one who doesn't care. Or maybe you're just confused.

Whose rights are being violated when someone is trying to force a property owner to work for them? The property owner. No one has a right to anothers work. Look up what a right is then defend it intelligently. You don't have to like the result, but you have to always defend the rights. Those are your rights. You're defending your rights. If you don't you're a hypocrit who should never, ever be given any creedence when it comes to rights.

This!
And? So?
Next time you make absurd comments about someone not knowing rights make sure you know who you're discussing the issue with or you'll just look silly.

This bill does not give anyone the right to refuse to offer medically necessary care.
Meaning, elective procedures only.
This is protecting doctors from being forced as a condition of their employment to mutilate patients, to murder their unborn children, or to kill a patient who is not facing a painful and debilitating illness certain to result in death within a short period of time.
Disgusting. Are LGBT people not people or...? How about you keep your religious views to yourself and do your job.
Sure they are, but you dont get rights because of who you sleep with or what you believe in. And your rights stop where someone elses begin. In other words no one should be forced to labor for another including for reasons of of sex, skin color, belief system, etc.
If you're a doctor in a hospital and the rule is you must treat everyone equally regardless of religion, sex, race, gender identity etc. better do as your told or seek another job. Its all about ownership. You own your labor and if someone else contracts your labor for a specific reasons, you should abide by said agreement.

Sex reassignment surgery is a specialized field, one would expect that if a doctor went into that field they would know that sexual reassignment was part of the job. Abortions are also done in specific clinics unless it is a medically necessary emergency. IF an ER doctor or nurse can't handle emergency situations, maybe working in an ER is not a good match for them. No one has ever forced a doctor or nurse to work at an abortion clinic.

I was just thinking that! How many times is a doctor going to perform 'sex reassignment surgery' that he or she hasn't trained and prepared for.
How many abortions are going to be performed other than at an abortion clinic?
One of the goals for the fundamentalist Republican theocrats is to allow doctors and hospitals to refuse life-saving treatment to gay people. Looks like they are about to get it
I have no doubt if these Republicans could get away with it, homosexuality would be a capital crime and the executions of gay people would be a public spectacle, done with the singing of Baptist hymns. These theocrats that have complete control over our country right now aren't much different than ISIS. Moderator cut: trolling/flaming They hate the Constitution and the First Amendment and are looking for ways to circumvent it. If they ever do, dark times are coming for this country and anybody who isn't a right-wing Christian fundamentalist.
You've completely misinterpreted the article. Read it again without a predetermined agenda in mind and get back to us.

Agreed anyone who isn't a Christian and pro-life etc, would be either kicked out of the U.S or imprisoned.
