Gen. John Paxton, acknowledged the growing rate of accidents.
"We are concerned about an increasing number of aircraft mishaps and accidents," he told the Senate Armed Services Committee.
He blamed funding shortfalls for the increase, saying, "If you don't have the money and you don't have the parts and you don't have the maintenance, then you fly less."

I'm struggling with your post.

Can you provide a link to today's military training deaths?

I see that there was a CHP Helicopter crash, not military, not federal government.

How is this related to the shutdown, and why are you putting in a link that's several YEARS old about funding shortfalls? That has nothing to do with the shutdown and everything to do with not having a proper budget for YEARS.

Maybe it's been a long day but I can't tell where you are going with this.

The deaths are in no way related to the shutdown.

This has got to be one of those bot posts. A real person from America cannot think like this.

Quit spending money invading and occupying in the Middle East and spend it here. Problem solved.

You might have been using the communist google. I know I was and got zero results.

Used "duckduckgo" and there are link/reports there.

I'm only providing what information I have on a topic. Sen. McCain made a speech about the lack of funding connected to military accidents.

I'll let people decide for themselves where to go with it.

Still not finding it on DuckDuckGo.

I don't think anyone is going to argue about budget cuts leading to military accidents. Look at the McCain and Fitzgerald incidences.

What I'm struggling with is: what happened today with a helicopter crash that is the fault of the shutdown?

Its under investigation as to cause.
I don't believe cause of this will be found related to the shutdown but Gen. Mathis also predicted there would be a price to pay when troops aren't funded.
At what point could a gov. shutdown be a related cause is the question ?
It can never be the cause itself because of pilot error. IMO
Who knows what is going on in the mind of a pilot, for sure, prior to an accident or in flight.

They may have not reported the crash until they get a hold of all the family, etc.

Police, first responders are complaining about folks reporting too quickly on fatal accidents. It is heart breaking to the family.

But you probably missed that.

No I didn't miss that. I only reported on what was already reported. I didn't release any names or a direct link.
Nice try though.
