NUNES: Wow, I've got a memo here detailing FBI abuses of FISA warrants!
FBI: Please give us a copy so we can investigate and take corrective action.
NUNES: No, you can't have it.
Two thoughts come to mind: a) If Nunes won't release it, that means it's bogus or fake, and b) Nunes knows it's bogus, and if he gives it to the FBI, the FBI can use it as evidence against him for obstruction of justice.
#ReleaseTheMemo was heavily pushed on Twitter by Russian bots. 'nuff said. This whole memo thing is a bogus distraction once again meant to demean and slander the good people of the FBI.
If it was given to the FBI they could then prevent the release to the public claiming its evidence in an investigation.
Nunes didn't fall for their underhanded tactics. The FBI is still operating to undermine the state.
For the FBI the attempted coup is not over.
If there is classified information in the memo that would be the only reason it would not be released. If there is a problem within the FBI then it needs to be addressed by Sessions and the courts, not the general public. If you can not see this as pure grandstanding then you are not looking at this objectively.
Tell me is this what investigative committees do, release their findings to the public. I always thought they were supposed to provide oversight, not press releases. Thank god Comey and Lynch are gone otherwise the deep state nuts would have a great conspiracy to celebrate.

According to those who have seen it, it contains "factual errors" and references classified information.
The only one who said that is leaker Adam Schiff. Lol All the other Dems refused to read it and voted against releasing it.... so how would they know what's in it?

I realize that is the standard position of communist to keep information from the public.
Transparency is necessary for accountability in a Republic like the USA. The citizen deprived of information can't be expected to vote responsibly. They need all the information available and all information should be made available.
According to the statement of congressmen no classified information is in the memo.
The FBI is corrupt at the top and can't be trusted to correct itself. That's why congress has oversight to correct and make the FBI accountable to them and the people.
The committees often release the findings of their investigation in a report. One of the reasons for oversight is to release such reports and findings to the public to prove what was found and install faith in government.
