I've had the same pension amount coming in monthly for 14 yrs, presidents have nothing to do with increases in penions, your employer is in control of that. It's amazing how the sheepeople bless their leader.
Do you have income tax withholding on your pension? The withholding is what is changing. They are going to withhold LESS.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion. There are plenty of liberals that are jealous I receive one too.
I spoke to a buddy, who used to be a negotiator for DC37. He said you must have worked some serious OT your last year to get that size of a change. He did not give me numbers however he did not see his increase yet.

Yes I worked a ton of OT. That's why I retired. Plus there were other pension incentives that I invested in that significantly boosted my pension. Even though I make less I no longer pay state, city waiver and SS taxes. So with the OT, and other things I actually bring home more retired than when I was working. Made zero sense to stay on.

I'm sure you've never complained about government spending or waste....ever...
I worked my butt off for my pension. I wasted nothing. Thanks!!
by padding it with OT so that you could make more in retirement at age 47 then you did actually working? You do realize this is why taxes are high, much more so than the "welfare queens" or other canards you like to blame...
Pension statement came in today. Up $180 a month. $2160 a year. Add in the additional money my wife will bring home our household take home will be up 5k a year. Hey Nancy Pelosi that's not crumbs! That's real money! Thank Mr President!!!
Both my SS and my pension went up this year.
Neither Trump nor Congress had anything to do with either one.
If the program Trump laid out in his address is enacted, the annual budget deficit will be closer to $1.5 trillion than the $1.0 trillion many are projecting every year through at least the next 10 years.
Legislated deficit reductions of any kind, including mandatory spending, are not at all likely before the 2018 election.
Trump, who likes to refer to himself and his administration with superlatives, is very likely to be the biggest deficit- and debt-increasing president of all time.
