Honestly? Its the question you ask when you view the presidency as a CEO position, not as a representative of the people. Trump has a hard time understanding this-and again...thats not a surprise. Its why he is probably going to be found to have obstructed justice.

Dershowitz neglects to mention that a president can't use official powers for corrupt purposes — such as impeding or obstructing an investigation. That includes pardons.
Actually, he specifically addressed that and provided the example of the Bush pardon of Weinberger as his proof.
Why would Trump ask the man if he was on his team?
