Can't help but wonder how many working in the WH can't get security clearances for one reason or another.
Seems like if you can't get a security clearance, regardless of what Trump's personal feelings are, that person should not be working in the WH.
National security, you know.
Something like 30 people in the West Wing can't get clearnce. One explanation I heard was because so many better qualified people and people well known in the party don't want to work in the Trump White House that their pool of people to pick from is down to the third stringers.
Trump's been pretty effective at using the media to advance his interest. He doesn't really like the antifa/BLM movements so when a white racists runs somebody over at a protest, he says "theres blame on both sides." White racists cheer in unison. Trump doesn't care much for Mexican immigrants so he says they are bringing drugs, crime and rapists. White nationalists see their membership swell. Now Trump bemoans lives being shattered by a mere allegation. Harassers and abusers breathe a sigh of relief - they know at least they have the President's sympathy.
Trump uses his bully pulpit better than any other president I can recall, and he uses it to get across his vision of a reactionary America with fewer non-whites, more bullies (rapists and harassers), and greater wealth for the upper class. I hope he can use it to also push some benefits to sick and elderly Americans, working class families struggling to keep the lights on, etc. So far he has been more aligned with political elite and business ruling class, but maybe he can change.

Trump doesn't care a whit for any of those people bolded above, and neither does the Republican party, so don't hold your breath for that.
It's a little more than just accusations when there are police reports and orders of protection against Porter done long before he worked in the White House.
Now, now - we all know the police and everyone in America is part of the "secret deep state that's trying to take down Saint Donny the Orange."
I'm sure the police reports, the physical evidence of abuse, and everything else is "fake news" because if anything fails to cast Donny and his worthless cronies in a positive light, it's all part "of the conspiracy."
The hypocrisy of the right is so laughably obvious. Not one of these jokers would have trusted Trump or his worthless band of white-collar pirates with their money, house, or wife only a few years ago. But now we're going to pretend that he's a saint! Come on!
Yes, we do.
And many are “man” enough to admit those mistakes and apologize for erroneous assumptions.
And some aren’t:
“Wading into a racially-charged case from his past, Donald Trump indicated that the "Central Park Five" were guilty, despite being officially exonerated by DNA evidence decades after a notorious 1989 rape case.”
How is it that his supporters can not see the utter hypocrisy of him now pretending to care about “due process “ and whether someone suffers simply because they have been accused?
Is his mind so far gone to have forgotten the foundation of his campaign was built on “ lock her up?”
Are theirs?
One of the qualifications for that job is the ability to get a security clearance.
His background clearly precluded that.
Hence, he wasn’t/isn’t qualified.
