The American economy distributes wealth to politicians, both republican and democrat, whom produce nothing other than laws and regulations that empower their self interests on the backs of the taxpayer.

Just playing devil's advocate. I don't want my money stolen...PERIOD.
unlikely. Once you get to a certain production level, making more does not have the same benefit. Maybe down to $7? MRE's are a fairly complex item.

And I don't mind keeping kids from starving, or even going too much food hungry, it decrease IQ, and would make our country less competitive on the global stage.

I don't mind the idea of food boxes, we had government cheese when I was a kid-and I thought that was a great thing.

I've never been on food stamps, but if I couldn't provide enough income to feed my hungry children, I would be grateful for the free food provided by other people working to feed their own children and mine and would not complain.

We had prison farms for both men and women in my state. The remnants of the farms are still there.
There was also prison industries.
The prisons were basically self sufficient.

Then came the lobbyists.

Prison farms closed and now the state buys all goods food included from for profit vendors. Neat, eh ?

Last week when I went to the commissary on base, I glanced at the price and they were $130 for the box. But that is probably the price that DeCa decided (courtesy of the NDAA of 2017 ) is a fair economical price. You can buy a box on Amazon for less than $85.00.

Neither are millions of food stamp recipients. The snack cake and potato chip industries will also take a hit.

Slave Class? LAWL

Let's see. If someone was in prison would they rather....
  • be locked up in a cell all day
or
  • given the opportunity to go outside in the fresh air & sunshine to farm food for the prison.
Shouldn't be too hard to figure that one out.

(to answer your question ... it's you )
