You aren't thinking enough then. These latest indictments, so far, having nothing to do with Donald Trump. We have yet to know who Contacts 1, 2 and 3 are and we may never know. These indictments and release of all the information were done for the court of public opinion. To show that that our intelligence agencies were correct.

How do you figure they reached fewer people?

And why single out Soro’s when the Koch brothers and others have spent as much if not more?

People choose whom to believe.
They make a point of searching out other like-minded people to confirm their internal biases.
They become a captive audience to whomever controls the message.

The question we need to ask ourselves is who primed the pump?
Did the Russians bolster Trump’s messaging or did they design it?

I suspect a little of both.

And before y’all go off on how impossible it is to design and sell that sort of influence, think about how many people make a point of setting themselves in front of their televisions to watch the Super Bowl ads.
And how much advertisers are willing to spend just to get us to buy Doritos.

The same advertising principles drive every campaign. And we are all sitting ducks, having been conditioned to welcome this sort of messaging into our homes and minds.

As long as people continue to allow their confirmation biases to chose their information sources, someone, be it the Russians or closer to home, will be able to manipulate the message.
Closed loops and all that.

Lies are easily exposed. It is the truth that was hard to deflect from.
I don't get what you are trying to say. The RT network was a joke. No one watched it. But the original intelligence report the feds put out made the RT network a central player in helping Trump which was ridiculous.

The Russians did not care about the truth anymore than the MSM did or does.

Does Mueller Indictment Mean Clinton Campaign Can Be Indicted for Chris Steele?

Special Counsel Robert Mueller indicted foreign citizens for trying to influence the American public about an election because those citizens did not register as a foreign agent nor record their financial expenditures to the Federal Elections Commission. By that theory, when will Mueller indict Christopher Steele, FusionGPS, PerkinsCoie, the DNC and the Clinton Campaign?

First, if Mueller’s theory is correct, three things make Steele a criminal: first, he is a foreign citizen; second, he tried to influence an election, which he received payments to do (including from the FBI itself); and third, he neither registered as a foreign agent nor listed his receipts and expenditures to the Federal Election Commission. Also, according to the FBI, along the way, Steele lied…a lot, while the dossier he disseminated contained its own lies based on bought-and-paid for smears from foreign sources reliant on rumors and innuendo.

Putin said here was no real evidence behind the indictments.

The truth is we'll never know, these Russians will never stand trial, and Mueller knows it, his indictments could be as fictional as the dossier.

If this is all Mueller comes up with, he will be the biggest laughingstock.

Mueller will have to come up with something else, just to save his reputation.

Advertisers spent $419 million on Super Bowl ads this Super Bowl. Clinton spent $1 billion running for POTUS. The Russians spent less than $1 million trying to defeat or at least slow down Clinton.

You are really comparing these examples? If it really worked that way advertisers would just create fake facebook posts and save $400 million dollars. And Clinton donors could have saved a bundle.

The Russians had no impact on the 2016 election. Except in calling the left into action to subvert the presidency post election.

No, it means that those indicted cannot travel to whatever countries have extradition treaties with the US.

So it is Mother Russia for the 13 and the officers of the 3 corporations.

No more trips to warm lands, or to the places where they have purchased lavish properties.
