The tide of public opinion may finally be turning. Americans are getting tired of burying their children. Even one of the big GOP doners sees the writing on the wall.

And he's not the only Republican either.

By failing to address even the smallest gun safety issues - the tide of public opinion is turning. They couldn't even address the bump stock issue for god's sake.

Are you still operating under the false assumption that Trump didn't get BIG money from doners? Check your facts friend.

He took a got a shyte ton of money from the NRA alone.

When even the conservative New York Post - Trump's FAVORITE newspaper - is demanding action - then you'd best believe things are changing.

Slowly ever so slowly, GOP may stop taking the NRA money that comes with the blood of American children on it.

Marco Rubio has some explaining to do after taking $3.3M from the NRA. He commented that no gun law would have prevented this, same comments after the Pulse Night Club shooting. He recommended that congress should focus on solving the violence part of these crimes whatever that means. I haven't seen any proposals from him since the Pulse shooting, maybe he's still working out the details.

Then why are so many people pushing for a solution (additional gun control) that won't work?
