You get to pick the school you go to if you aren't going to the State-mandated propaganda center.

HUGE difference.

I am not "feeling" this one.

Depending on school calendar, timing conflicts with finals, the hub bub of proms and the immenant end of the semester.

The problem isn't guns. The problem is a lack of morality and respect for life. That has been brought on by liberal policies ..."progressivism."

The fact is, if at least one teacher (who was killed protecting students) had a gun, he would be alive, and so would many students.

Why are our schools "gun free zones?" Criminals don't care if they are "gun free zones." In fact, they love it.

Our Second Amendment says, " ...the right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed." This affirms that it is an inherent right, not a right granted by government.

Law abiding gun owners do not shoot up schools. Nor do they shoot police officers. Criminals do these things. Criminals don't care how many laws are passed, because they don't obey laws. They couldn't care less about the law.

When will liberals learn, and stop trying to infringe on our right to protect our families, our property, and defend our "free States" against a tyrannical government?

When gun ownership is prohibited to free people, we will no longer be free, and only the government will have guns, and they will use them against us.

Today, 'the people' are the militias.

When lawmakers overturn the federal law that states you can not be within 1000 feet of a school with a firearm.

The day that happens, I'd give Mondays to stand guard at any school locally.

So what? Walk outs are nothing new. It's a Friday, basically making for a three day weekend. As this is probably secondary schools, once the pupils check-in for morning homeroom the schools get their checks from the Federal/State/City system thus the schools don't lose.

I agree, school walkouts are encouraged by some teachers in their indoctrination to Social Justice Warrior troops. Why should teachers object?? They still get paid for not teaching kids.

Three of the deadliest school shootings -- Columbine, Virginia Tech, and now Parkland -- occurred despite the presence of armed police.

IIRC, it was before 24/news, video games, cell phones and social media.
