I don't have a facebook "app" on my phone in that I do not have the link to click. I have messenger however. I don't believe it is 'synced', but how could I confirm that it isn't?

Facebook and probably all social media should be banned.
Totally dumbed down the human race.

I like Facebook for the fact that I came across long time not seen friends from HS and thereafter. Even some middle school friends and one elementary school friend.

The sad side for me is that many friends and people I know, are definitely not feeling like their posts seem to indicate. It is for sure a fake book of people often showing how they want to be seen.

Then we have the group that wants to get sympathy for everything in their life that goes wrong or they want to show to the outside to get attention.

The best ones are the few that are compassionate and show a little of their life and show interest in others and the ones that makes everyone laugh.

I also feel for the people who suffer and show that in a decent and human way, but not the ones who keep pushing it in our face while when we see them they keep telling about all the places they went while their Facebook is showing all drama.

Btw I love the animals that are just being funny because they are special and act like themselves!

Facebook has become a crutch for people who have emotional/mental issues and crave attention.

My fake Facebook account thinks I’m a Trump supporter. They also think I love hannity.

I don’t have any friends, no subscriptions and the only things I have liked are posts about animals. I have posted a few messages bashing republicans and Trump suppporters.

I don’t have a real account. I’m not convinced their algorithms are that great.

What I don’t understand is the part where people post stuff for the world to see and then get annoyed that that data is mined. In that case all Facebook is doing is like retweeting.

The same could be said of Twitter, Tumblr, and all manner of social media sites, including City-Data.

I'm keeping my preferences the same: Don't go on Facebook or Twitter because the people who care about you know what you're up to and those you haven't talked to in ten years shouldn't know.

Better to try deleting your account altogether...but from what I've heard (I don't have one in the first place), it's easier to leave a street gang than it is to permanently erase FB accounts.
