Respect the authors of these classic fairy tales and stop thinking too much. Most of these stories are about magic, wonder, and enchantment, and love is beautiful.

Why do anybody have to focus on the characters' hair color, eye color?

If these stories were written by the Brothers Grimm. You need to know these stories were created in 1800+ You are not going to see interracial marriage, or darker skinned people. This doesn't mean these stories are racists with no value.

Why do you need a princess who's had an abortion? What does that teach or prove?

P.S. My parents always read me a bedtime story when I was a kid. "Once upon a time, in a small country in Europe...." This is how it goes.. I would've imagined a blonde beauty with blue eyes.. What is so wrong about that?

Should American media only portray men as buffed, young and white? Or tall, rich and handsome.
That's just crazy talk.

why? women should be held to different standards.

no. men are valued for things besides their looks. if a women isn't at least decent looking, she really isn't a woman.

Here is a counter story from a former worker of Disney: https://medium.com/@deannafalchook/i...n-e1ab0f9e6443

"Maybe the reason Planned parenthood wants to rewrite the princess stories is because stories of evil witches in pursuit of killing off beautiful princesses has already been told. I guess they don’t like their part of the story."

We already have that. It's called Beauty and the Beast. There was an animated film, and a live action film recently.
