That's your opinion. If California dropped off the map tomorrow - the rest of the country would survive. If it's so great why to you only visit LA occasionally instead of living there - no need to answer as we know why.

There are 100's of great places to live in the USA and I can't be bothered to go visit any of them. Does that make them not worthy of living. No not at all.
The usual suspects will flood in to say it's only 60 people, California has the 6th largest economy in the world, but they'll have to live in Texas (the 7th circle of hell, though they've never been there), California is supporting red states by sending more to the feds than they get back, California is propping up America which would otherwise be a third world backwater where everyone would starve to death, etc.

I've spent time in both TX and CA...(Irvine, city of Industry...etc.....) and I damn sure would not want to live in CA...never.. rude ass people...think they are always better than you...

The team at JetSuite Inc. is eager to work in a place that's more business friendly. That's part of the reason why the California-based airline is moving to Dallas-Fort Worth this summer.
The difference in how businesses are treated was apparent to Alex Wilcox, chief executive officer of JetSuite Inc., when he started looking for places to put his company's headquarters in DFW.
"I tried to start flying out of Santa Monica, California. And they sued me because I was trying to bring a service to the city," Wilcox said. "And when I got to Dallas, literally people in city hall were like, ‘How can we help you?’"
"It’s such a welcome sea change," he added. "Not being viewed as an enemy, but being viewed as an asset is so refreshing."
They are taking 60 people out of the state with them, and will hire 150-200 more here.
Their loss, our gain.
Oh boy, California is doomed ! One business moved out of State ! This is horrible.

I don't think you read your link very well...they attribute more people in CA due to new babies being born and people from foreign nations moving in....

Visited an awesome Bbq place called Voodoo Bbq while in New Orleans. Owner said he was expanding into other states, and I said please come to California!! He laughed and shook his head, said no way!
Isn’t that sad? California used to be the dream. This is what the politicians can never measure, how many businesses never start or move to California because of their hostile business climate.
Jetsuite is leaving Santa Monica airport because the Santa Monica airport is closing down by 2028 and the airport will be turned into a park. The airport already shortened the runway in preparation for the shut down. Shortening the runway resulted in a sharp downturn in jet traffic including JetSuite flights.
