Pathetic.

Anything for some unknown inconsequential college professor to try and get some notice.

Maybe that professor should try doing something useful or meaningful if they want attention?

Wiki page. Just an example of why we need to change post secondary education for the majority of students who are simply looking to increase their value to future employers and skip over "keeping the culture"

And the progressive liberals say others like me are uneducated or have been duped if we don't follow their path. LOL. They love to tout how they are supposedly educated and worldly, saying if I like guns and vote not for liberal progressives I am a uneducated and so on. All the degrees in the world don't give you wisdom, if she is your professor you aren't even getting educated.

Disgusting, but freedom of speech right?

Or does that only apply for some here when it doesn't involve hateful speech against police, the military, or conservatives?

I'm sure if someone tweeted Hillary Clinton's future passing as the witch being dead, some of the same folks here screaming for this professor's head would then be wanting to high five that person.

Double standards, always and forever.

Apparently she's right - she can't be fired.

She was a nice lady in her later years, but she wasn't particularly nice when she was FLOTUS. She and Nancy despised each other.

I did not like that she called her husband's VP opponent a *****. Thought it was uncalled for and crude.

I see she has ties to Egypt and she hates the Bush family for Iraq. So how is Egypt working out now after Obama and Clinton got us involved in the Arab spring? Not good from what I read.

She grew up in Kuwait and Egypt and moved here after the Gulf War.

CA deserves her.

First, it is disgusting what that professor said. But it's just as absurd to paint her as representative of the vast majority of liberals as it is to paint Alex Jones or Donald Trump as representative of all conservatives.

As for freedom of speech. It's not freedom of speech if you're a state employee. When you work for a government, you represent that body through your behavior - working hours or not. Even for private employers, they are not subject to the First Amendment. That's why some software company could fire the guy who berated a Chick-fil-A employee.
