How so? Trump and his GOPosse have been rolling back all the regs that Obama and the Dems put in place to protect consumers.

I'm sure you have specific examples showing that it was the Dems, too, so let's hear them--specifically.

Some people have been disabled from being injured in warfare. You would actually want to make it more difficult for a disabled veteran!

There are also people in this world who were born mentally retarded. Though they may be slow in certain aspects of mental behaviors, they still have the ability to be excellent drivers. Have you no consideration for those kinds of people?

-Or perhaps its due to the fact that you're aware that the repeal of this decree mostly negatively affects minorities that you're in favor of it....

Please tell me that's NOT the case!
Are you saying minorities are dumber than white people?

My Filipina wife would disagree.

Not everyone who disagrees with you is racist. Try digesting that.

Regulations add costs.

So rather than being proactive by preventing crimes against the American public, you'd prefer to allow each crime victim to independently defend for himself...

Just always remember:

An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure...

How could I possibly be saying minorities are dumb, when I'm addressing you?

That would be highly disrespectful!

Besides, not many minority members could be less intelligent than our current POTUS!

That seems to be the position taken by those who insist the CFPB is needed. We see this kind of soft bigotry of low expectations all the time.

For those too lazy to read the link's article I include its analysis below my comment.
This is funny, coming from someone too lazy to read the letter to the DOJ from eleven Congressmen recommending criminal investigations, and instead shrugging it off as if it was nothing.

Quite the conundrum, no?

Because we need checks and balances to guard against graft.

Currently, there are far too many politicians dealing behind closed doors with lobbyists.

The feds are needed to both monitor and remind states of both federal and their own state laws....

I already have an I.D. to vote. Why should I be forced to get another one to ease your irrational fears?

You just responded to an incorrect assumption...
