It is bad enough that a police officer puts their life on the line when they are trying to bring a criminal to justice, but to be killed for doing nothing at all, other than being a police officer is just wrong.
RIP to the officers, and I know the pain their families is now going though.
Why would you want to go here in a thread like this?
No one has the right to take the life of another outside of an actual direct threat to theirs and that includes this example.
