Everything is political, even when it shouldn't be. If congress wants to keep an eye on countries that are keeping an eye on us, then of course they will approve and support surveillance programs. That makes it political.
Intelligence information has to come in through the front door. "Five Eyes" is the front door in this case that makes the intelligence legitimate. There is no legitimate back door.

The national security agencies were created by congress and congress has oversight.
The damage being done to them is the damage they are doing to themselves by delaying and slow rolling information and documents. It is the leadership in these agencies that are trying to cover-up the corruption.
That's what the evidence shows when Congress finally gets it.
It disappointing when the evidence leads to a different outcome than desired and hoped for.
The truth is coming out as originally requested by the left and ant-Trumps and it bites them big time.

Where are the resources and pursuit by Mueller of the Hillary campaign into the investigation where there is proof of their interference and connection to Russia. So far its all been one sided by Mueller while the Dems get ignored. Mueller isn't even knocking on those doors let alone kicking them in at gun point.
