What exactly did he do though? I guess I give him credit. In the same way i’d a wreckless driiver credit for saving an old lady by cutting off a trailer that would’ve hit her causing it to have to pull over.
Like ya, your a-hole antics kinda inadvertently saved the day. Thanks i guess?
The two Koreas got together during the Olympics, remember. And at that time, our vice president ignored N. Korea reps...he was not involved in the ice breaking at the games.
so how did Trump help again...????
Gosh, I don't know why President Moon of South Korea said this was happening thanks to Trump.
Loony Leftists would rather have WW3. They love blood and violence.
Big news, a document will be signed to officially end the Korean war, and to de-nuclearize the entire region.
Credit Trump's tweets calling out "Rocket Man" and his tough talk - for getting accomplished what all other presidents since the 1950's, have been unable to do.
Anyone think this would have happened with Crooked Hillary in charge?
More great news. Hopefully Rocket Man will transition Nokor into the modern world and let his people grow and develop as Sokor has.
south korea's president was elected on his promise to tame the north.
I think he had a lot more to do with this than the cheeto.
in other words, he actually WORKED at it, unlike the cheeto, who merely bloviated.
He promised to unite the 2 nations. That's not "taming" anyone.
Moon, while working hard, is someone I don't trust completely either. Moon started his political career under a president that was committed to unification, and disliked the US greatly. That president also visited North Korea in an attempt to get peace, and an agreement was signed. That agreement gave the north over $300 million in aid, with no concessions in return. Moon is extremely leftwing, and some say borderline communist. Him working to do what it takes to get a treaty may backfire again, since I think he will agree to crazy terms just to get the country united.
Not really. The South Korean people have little interest in unifying the countries. The cost would be astronomical, and young people there are already struggling financially. To now support 25 million uneducated, malnourished people that have no way of earning a living in the ultra-high-tech world of South Korean would be a hardship.
The average North Koreans would win, but it will take generations for them to catch up to the modern South Korean society. The upper class of North Korea would lose a lot. They would lose their power, control, money and prestige. I imagine they would not welcome a drop in status at all.
