So yes, prohibiting everyone but the Secret Service from carrying guns will make keeping the President and VP safe easier for the Secret Service. No conclusion of that can be drawn for anyone but those two people, and any claims made would be speculation.

So the message is its safer to have a gun, when everyone else doesn't. Well duh! I've said myself I'm for gun control, if there's a gun I want to be in control of it.

Exactly.

As usual, those calling to ban guns don't want to ban everyone from having guns.........they just want to ban you from having one.

And enforce that ban by other people with guns.

Standard Secret Service policy. Nothing to do with the NRA. NRA members are much more law abiding than liberals. That is for damn sure.

It could be a group of Nuns, and the SS wouldn't allow guns. Duh.

Must be a scary world for some people to think they can't go out for a loaf of bread without packing heat.
So.....you have armed guards protecting you when you go out for a loaf of bread so you don't have to carry?

Sweet.

Too bad not everyone gets that kinda protection like you and govt officials.

They don't like legally owned guns. They must not like the law abiding either. They are hypocrites. Once you realize that, it becomes obvious they are just control freaks, always wanting to control what YOU do. I don't care if they don't own guns. Nobody is forcing them to do that, but don't take my right away because you wet the bed for every little thing. Control freak hypocrites, and losers. Next they will want to ban Confederate statues, Columbus, and George Washington. Oh wait.

They are just making sure that no antigun idiots (many one the left) get in and rush the stage and try to take anyone out.....

Or maybe the left has forgotten that during a trump rally, someone (anti-repub) tried to jump the barriers and get on stage with trump....

Ohio college student who tried to rush stage at Donald Trump rally pleads guilty* - NY Daily News

But hey, I guess by lefty standards only people that agree with the NRA go to these type meetings....
